Imagine That

Imagine That! takes you and your child on a musical journey of discovery and exploration... a journey only limited by the power of imagination.

Pretend play activities are integrated with vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature to capture your child's potential to learn and to encourage cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality.

  • Age Range - 3 to 5 years
  • Semester - 4 units, each 15 weeks
  • Class Length - 45 minutes
  • Focus - Imagination is the child's greatest learning tool.

Imagine That! 4 Unit Themes

  • See What I Saw

    See What I SawSee What I Saw takes the child on an imaginary trip to Grasshopper Park where they sail down the park slide and then recreate the sound of that experience with the looong vocal glissando. Recreating this experience at home is a snap with the park play set complete with trees, grass, a fence, a lake, two children, a sailboat and more!

    Toys I Make, Trips I TakeToys I Make, Trips I Take leads the child on a magical journey into a remarkable Toy Shop filled with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-box and many other toys that bring a glimmer into a child's eyes. While the excitement may begin in the toy shop, it may end on a tropical island!

  • Hello Weather, Let's Play Together!

    Hello Weather, Let's Play Together! Hello Weather, Let's Play Together! explores sunshine, rain, snow, thunderstorms and move in this imaginative and delightful weather-related musical adventure. Whether creating storm sounds on a drum or throwing pretend snowballs, children and their families are encouraged to get outdoors and enjoy the world around them!

  • Cities! Busy Places -Friendly Faces

    Cities! Busy Places - Friendly FacesCities! Busy Places - Friendly Faces transports the child into a Kindermusik city, where ordinary sounds and sights on the street makes a musical ensemble. People shuffle their feet to a 4/4 beat. Street musicians serenade and sing. Clock towers boom, bellow and ring. You and your class will co-create a city that's familiar, yet like no other. Using Kindermusik's visual tools and home activities, children will transform the classroom, build a city out of handcrafted "buildings" and walk down sidewalks made of masking tape and freezer paper!
