A New Award Winning Music Enrichment Program by Kindermusik for 2 to 6 year olds

ABC Music & Me is such a hit with pre-schools and childcare centers that since its introduction a year ago, 70% of our business partners have adopted the program! And here are the reasons why:

• Flexibility . The monthly themes allow integration into different preschool calendar, be it 8 weeks (2 monthly units), 10 weeks (2 monthly units with extension), 12 weeks (3 monthly units) or a year-round childcare environment.
  
• Diversity. Each monthly unit has its unique age appropriate theme centering around things familiar and dear to the child and reinforces the preschool learning concepts.

Age Range - 2 – 4 years and 4 - 6 years

Semester - Original version is 12 thematic monthly units for 2 – 4 year-olds and another 12 thematic monthly units for 4 – 6 year-olds. However, these may be adapted to suit various school calendar needs.

Class Length - 30 – 45 minutes depending on preschools/centers requirements

Focus - Provides experiences that build foundational music skills that will serve your child no matter what level of music education he or she is involved in later, be it piano lessons, singing in a choir, or enjoying a concert from the audience.

Curriculum Content - For your 2 – 4 year old, ABC Music & Me works weekly to exercise your child’s busy brain, generate non-stop body moves, makes music, encourages listening, learning and generally gives your child a multi-sensory workout!

For 4 – 6 year old, your child is a more physically coordinated learner and abstract thinker. The program engages your child with exposure to various musical styles and culture, plus knowledge of instruments and rudimentary music literacy to widen his / her scope of musical understanding.

• Provides fun, guided, ensemble-style opportunities for vocal exploration, movement, and instrument play
• Offers a primer for early keyboard skills

Home Materials

For each 10-week semester, your child will get 2 sets of Home Materials, one on week 1 and the second set on week 5.

Each set consists of:

1. A Kindermusik CD with over 20 songs, rhymes and stories from class

2. A family magazine with stories, activities, the set’s learning focus, and developmental information that details your child’s emerging learning strengths.

One of the 2 sets will also contain :

• An age-appropriate specialty instrument
